I Put A Spell On You: ALiiVE at Webster Hall

STREAMING SUNDAY OCTOBER 27 - NOVEMBER 1 ON BROADWAY ON DEMAND

Get ready to be bewitched! Broadway’s biggest Halloween party  I Put a Spell on You: ALiiVE at Webster Hall is set to return for its ninth year on Monday, October 21, 2024, at the historic Webster Hall in NYC, and streaming online at Broadway on Demand October 27-31. Created by Jay Armstrong Johnson, this electrifying concert-meets-dance party pays homage to the cult-favorite Disney film Hocus Pocus. It promises to enchant audiences once again as the Broadway community unites to benefit the Ali Forney Center, the nation's largest agency serving LGBTQ+ youth experiencing homelessness.

In the search to find beauty, youth, and immortality, the bewitching and beloved Sanderson Sisters return from the dead and gather their most famous friends to help them lure the children of New York.

I Put a Spell on You: ALiiVE at Webster Hall was created by and stars Johnson  (ABC’s Quantico, Parade, On the Town, The Phantom of the Opera). The annual show is a spoof of and tribute to the beloved cult classic movie Hocus Pocus. Johnson leads the charge as the bewitching and hilarious Winifred Sanderson with Allison Godleski casting a mesmerizing charm as the ditzy yet irresistible Sarah Sanderson. Amanda Williams Ware delivers comedic gold as the lovable Mary Sanderson, completing the wickedly fun trio.

Expect visits from famous villains who perform with larger-than-life voices and choreography, over-the-top costumes and makeup, unmatched production value, and a healthy dose of Broadway magic with a cast that includes Tony Award-winner J. Harrison Ghee (Some Like It Hot) , Tony Award-nominee Robyn Hurder (Moulin Rouge, Chicago), Stephen Brower (Lempicka), Yeman Brown (Queen of Versailles), Max Clayton’s (Music Man), Heath Saunders (Company), Emma Sofia (CATS: The Jellicle Ball) plus Karma Jenkins (The Time Traveler’s Wife) brings heart and spunk as Dani Dennison, with Maddox Martin and Kathryn Priest portraying the courageous Max and Allison. And this is just the beginning of the stellar lineup that promises a night of magic, music, and pure theatrical enchantment!

This year's I Put a Spell on You event finds a fitting home in the legendary Webster Hall (125 East 11th Street, New York, NY 10003), with its Gothic Revival architecture, opulent chandeliers, and historic charm, Webster Hall provides the perfect home for the ninth anniversary Broadway’s favorite Halloween party.

Benefiting

The Ali Forney Center works to protect Queer youth from homelessness. Their mission aligns with IPASOY’s convictions.  It pains us deeply to think there are children who don't believe they are worthy of love, cannot show their true selves, and struggle daily just to survive.

The Ali Forney Center relies on the generosity of individuals and businesses to provide life-saving services to over 2,000 homeless LGBTQ+ youth every single year. A donation of $100 provides 45 meals to the LGBTQ+ youth in their care. $150 provides them shelter for one week, or $1000 helps keep them off the street for a month.
